Service Creek Outfitters is owned and operated by a local family. We are Kellie, Brian, Randy, Linda, Will, Eva, Johnny, and Beth. We love the outdoors and we were extremely delighted when the opportunity to own and manage this amazing resort was made available to us. The location is prime and the guests we’ve had are amazing!
We are honored that you’ve stopped at our website and welcome you to explore the site and the services that we offer. We promise you that you won’t regret anytime that you spend here. It’s not overcrowded, so there are no waiting lines. Even if it’s just for a day or two, leave the traffic and congestion behind.

Whether you’re planning a family trip, a weekend get-away or an adventure with our Outfitters, we invite your family to join our family at our beautiful home here in Service Creek Oregon!

Unique Location in the John Day River area
Nestled deep in ancient canyons of the John Day River, Service Creek is a traveler’s oasis. In addition to the naturalness this paradise offers, we try to make your trip as relaxing or exciting as you would like. There is rest for the weary traveler and a haven for the intrepid explorer. What is especially noteworthy is that here in the heart of the John Day Fossil Basin the borders are wild and scenic. The current population of Service Creek is 4 (a newborn arrived in 8/2017). Our resort is the tiny town of Service Creek.
The Journey Through Time Scenic Byway meets the John Day River at Service Creek. In addition we are centrally located between the three units of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument.
